Cancellation and Refunds

We understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to provide clarity and flexibility while ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Refund Eligibility Based on Cancellation Timeframe

  • 100% refund of the booking amount will be issued if the cancellation is made 12 or more days before the check-in date.
  • If the booking is cancelled 6 to 12 days before the check-in date, a Future Stay Voucher (FSV) worth 60% of the booking amount will be issued, or a 50% refund in the original mode of payment.
  • No refund or voucher will be issued if the booking is cancelled within 6 days of the check-in date.

Additional Terms

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 working days from the date of cancellation.
  • Partial payments made towards bookings are non-refundable.
  • Future Stay Vouchers (FSV) issued as per policy can be redeemed for future bookings.
  • Refunds, if applicable, are subject to a 5% processing fee. However, if you choose an FSV, the full refund amount will be credited without deductions.
  • In the event of a last-minute cancellation due to extenuating circumstances, StayWaale will try to secure a new booking for the same dates. If the dates are rebooked, a refund will be issued after deducting a 5% processing fee. If the property remains unbooked, the cancellation will be treated as a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund.

Our standard cancellation policy does not apply to cancellations made for the following Peak Dates:

  • Holi – 14th to 15th March 2025
  • Ramzan Eid – 28th to 31st March 2025
  • Good Friday – 18th April to 20th April 2025
  • Independence Day – 15th to 17th August 2025
  • Gandhi Jayanti – 2nd to 4th October 2025
  • Bhai Dooj – 23rd to 25th October 2025
  • Christmas & New Year – 24th December 2025 to 2nd January 2026
  • Republic Day – 23rd January to 26th January 2026

FAQs

1. What is the Rescheduling Eligibility & Terms?
  • StayWaale allows rescheduling of a booking only if requested between 12 and 6 days before check-in, subject to a 30% rescheduling fee.
  • Rescheduling is subject to the availability of the same property.
  • Bookings can be rescheduled only once, and only for the same property.
  • The new booking must be within 3 months of the original booking date.
  • Partial payment bookings are not eligible for rescheduling.
  • Any remaining balance after adjusting charges will be absorbed into the new booking and will not be refunded.
2. Which Bookings Are Not Eligible for Refunds?
  • Some bookings are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the situation. Please review the following carefully:
  • No Refunds Apply To:

  • Reservations made using the “NOCANCEL” coupon.
  • Peak date bookings – These cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
  • Rescheduled bookings – Once a booking has been rescheduled, it will no longer qualify for a refund.
  • Partial payment bookings – Such bookings are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
  • Last-Minute Cancellations (Extenuating Circumstances):

  • If a booking is cancelled at the last minute due to extenuating circumstances, StayWaale will make reasonable efforts to rebook the property for the same dates.
  • If the property is successfully rebooked, a refund will be processed after deducting a 5% processing fee.
  • If no replacement booking is secured, the cancellation will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
3. What are StayWaale’s Booking Terms & Conditions?
All bookings are subject to StayWaale’s Terms & Conditions available on our website.
4. What is a Future Stay Voucher (FSV)?
An FSV is a voucher issued for future bookings, valid as per StayWaale’s policies.
5. What is the Meals Refund Policy?
Meal-related charges are non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.
6. How to Cancel or Reschedule Your Booking?
Guests can cancel or request rescheduling by contacting our support team at support@staywaale.com.
7. When will I receive my security deposit refund?
Security deposit refunds (if applicable) are processed within 30 days after check-out, subject to property inspection.
